A writable silicone bottle band is a band first and a marking surface second. It stretches around the bottle’s outside diameter, grips by tension, and gives the station one place for a product name, date, or other kitchen-required note.
The approved marker system
Use the included black oil-based paint marker as the default. Let fresh writing dry before service. Remove the writing with isopropyl alcohol on a cloth when the bottle contents change, then let the surface dry before rewriting.
Light ghosting can remain on silicone. That is normal cosmetic wear. Colored oil-based ink may leave more visible ghosting than black ink.
Permanent marker is an optional longer-hold choice. It is not literally permanent on silicone, but it can be harder to remove and may leave a more visible trace. Dry-erase is not the default Kitchen Bandits guidance.
What the band itself does
The food-grade, BPA-free silicone is dishwasher safe at commercial temperatures. It is also heat-safe to 450°F / 232°C. Those statements describe two separate product facts. The heat rating does not prove a reuse count or unchanged performance through a specific number of wash cycles.
The band has no adhesive, so it leaves no adhesive residue. It may still collect ordinary kitchen soil and should be cleaned as part of the kitchen’s normal warewashing process.
Choose fit by diameter
Bottle capacity is not a fit specification. Measure the bottle’s outside diameter where the band will sit, then compare that measurement with the four canonical band sizes.
