Pre-printed and writable silicone bands solve two different jobs. One carries fixed text. The other provides a writing surface for information that changes.
When fixed text helps
Pre-printed text can make sense when a bottle always has the same role and the kitchen wants the same wording every time. The tradeoff is flexibility: a fixed name cannot adapt when the menu or station changes.
Kitchen Bandits pre-printed sets are future concepts, not part of the current 81-product canonical website range. They must not be presented as available today.
When writable helps
Writable bands suit bottles whose contents, date, or role changes. Canonical Kitchen Bandits packs include a black oil-based paint marker. Remove the writing with isopropyl alcohol when the bottle contents change. Light cosmetic ghosting can remain.
Colored oil-based ink may leave more visible ghosting. Permanent marker is an optional longer-hold choice, but it may be harder to remove and can leave a stronger trace. It is not a literal permanence promise.

Current Kitchen Bandits bands are made from food-grade, BPA-free silicone. They grip by tension with no adhesive, are dishwasher safe at commercial temperatures, and are separately heat-safe to 450°F / 232°C.
