The current Kitchen Bandits claims
Kitchen Bandits bands use food-grade, BPA-free silicone. The silicone is heat-safe to 450°F / 232°C. The bands are dishwasher safe at commercial temperatures.
The heat rating and dishwasher-safe statement are separate facts. The heat rating is not evidence for a numbered wash-cycle life or unchanged performance through repeated commercial washing.
What Kitchen Bandits does not currently claim
Kitchen Bandits does not currently publish a regulatory approval, third-party certification, inspector approval, or food-safety-system compliance claim for the bands. It also does not claim a numbered reuse life, a guaranteed contamination outcome, or an exact retirement schedule.
Those statements require their own evidence and an owner-approved update to the product claims authority before they can appear in public copy.
Read claims in context
Food-grade does not mean a product performs every kitchen job. BPA-free does not establish wash life. Heat-safe to 450°F does not prove durability through a specific number of dishwasher cycles.
The useful customer facts are the exact ones the product can support: material, heat rating, dishwasher-safe use, tension fit with no adhesive, marker method, ghosting guidance, pack contents, and measured fit.
